Special event marks launch of Ladder for Birmingham Apprenticeship Awards
BirminghamLive and the Ladder for Greater Birmingham celebrated the launch of a new apprenticeship awards which will recognise the rising stars of tomorrow.

Leaders from the business, civic and education communities came together at city centre bar The Botanist today to herald the newly created Ladder for Birmingham Apprenticeship Awards 2019.

The awards, to be held in July, are part of the Ladder for Greater Birmingham campaign which started last summer and is aiming to create 1,000 new apprenticeships in Birmingham and Solihull.

Anna said: “It was wonderful to welcome so many people to the event today and see the positivity towards the awards and wider Ladder campaign.

“We would encourage all employers, training providers, schools and the apprentices themselves to get involved with the awards by entering or supporting as sponsors.

“I am looking forward to hearing more about the great contribution apprentices are making to their employers and the city region over the coming months.”

More details about the awards and the 12 different categories will be revealed during National Apprenticeship Week next week but early birds can submit nominations now here.
