Marcegaglia were named winners at the West Midlands and Warwickshire Skills Awards in the excellence in skills partnership category.

The company employees around 190 people at sites in Oldbury and Dudley and is the largest precision tube manufacturer in Great Britain, specialising in the production of electro-welded carbons steel tubes for a diverse range of applications.

In collaboration with Performance Through People, Marcegaglia has developed a comprehensive staff development program aimed at enhancing on the job skills while creating new opportunities for unemployed individuals, ultimately leading to new job placements and apprenticeships.

The impact of this initiative has been profound providing invaluable support to both current staff and those seeking to enter the workforce.

Marcegaglia’s partnership with Performance Through People has resulted in seven employees successfully completing their Level 3 leadership and management course, equipping them with it essential skills in people management, performance management, leadership and communication.
