Nominations can now be submitted for our apprenticeship awards which will celebrate achievement across a broad range of categories for individuals, employers and training providers.
The awards, which are run with our media partners BirminghamLive and BusinessLive, will celebrate individual excellence in six different business sectors alongside recognition for companies of all sizes and training providers.
The Ladder for Greater Birmingham offers a collaborative, joined-up approach to improving skills and enrichment opportunities for all, particularly for the young and disadvantaged. We link up employers, training providers and candidates to give all the best chance of success in upskilling and employment.

Working to upskill the region
The Ladder for Greater Birmingham campaign was launched with the aim of creating 1,000 new apprenticeships across Birmingham and Solihull.
Leading local publisher BirminghamLive teamed up with community development group The Vine Trust, training provider Performance Through People and Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) to deliver the campaign to secure new futures for people across the two areas.
