Ladder Skills Academy

Located in Aston, the Ladder Skills Academy is a multi-use space which helps support education groups and unemployed people into employment and training, while engaging with local businesses and training providers and offering a job match service.

The have-a-go hub provides young people with the opportunity to experience a working environment and the jobs carried out in a wide range of sectors before they decide on their future career.

Mayor of the West Midlands Andy Street and GBSLEP Chief Executive Henriette Breukelaar joined Kevin Davis, chairman of the Ladder Apprenticeship Foundation, at the opening of the Ladder Skills Academy, which received £273,000 of funding from the GBSLEP Recycled Growing Places Fund.
