Reflecting on her achievement, Jessica said: “Achieving my Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing felt incredibly rewarding, and I’m really proud of what I’ve accomplished.”
After completing her A levels, Jessica chose the apprenticeship route – an experience that proved pivotal in shaping her confidence and helping her to decide what she wanted to do.
Training with Performance Through People provided her with structured guidance and ongoing support, helping her develop both personally and professionally while working within a real dental practice environment at Hanford Dental and Implant Centre.
Throughout the programme, Jessica demonstrated a strong work ethic and a clear commitment to learning.
She particularly valued the encouragement she received, which helped her grow in confidence when carrying out practical tasks and prepared her for the day‑to‑day demands of dental nursing.
Now fully qualified, Jessica is looking ahead to the next stage of her career at Hanford Dental and Implant Centre. She is keen to continue developing her skills within the dental field and has already begun discussions with her practice manager about further training opportunities, including intra‑oral scanner training.
Jessica’s tutor, Amy Johnson, praised her dedication and ability, saying: “Since her enrolment, Jess has been motivated and dedicated. She started this apprenticeship knowing her own mind, her goals and ambition, and continued to demonstrate a level of drive that is not often seen.
“She has a natural affinity for academic study and practically she thrives on the spot -this combination makes for the ideal dental nurse.”
Jessica’s achievement is a testament to her hard work, determination and ambition.
She is a credit to herself, to Hanford Dental and Implant Centre, and to Performance Through People, and she has a bright future ahead in dental nursing.
