Careers event in Birmingham for construction sector

Employers will be on hand to discuss opportunities available in the sector.

An event showcasing opportunities in the construction sector is taking place next week.

It is aimed at those aged 16 to 29 who are looking to enter the sector and wish to find out more about the jobs and career paths available.

It is being held from 12pm to 3pm on Wednesday March 29 in the ‘Job Box’ at Library of Birmingham, in Centenary Square.

Among the partners for the event is the Ladder for Greater Birmingham campaign which is creating thousands of apprenticeships in Birmingham and Solihull by connecting job seekers up with employers and training providers.

Among the employers due to attend next week’s event are Linsco, Equans, Kier, Skills Centre, O’Neil, Brennan and VGC.
