The annual Apprenticeship Awards celebrate the very best of the region’s learners, training providers, educators and employers.
The awards are run by BirminghamLive in partnership with the Ladder for Greater Birmingham. They celebrate achievement across a range of categories.
In 2022, a young dental nurse who has had to juggle her studies, work and being a home carer was crowned Apprentice of the Year. Summar Wilkes works at Smile Style Dental Care Centre where she is also studying for a dental nursing apprenticeship.
